Maggie Valley Town Hall Offices will be closed on Monday January 21, 2019 in observation of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. We will reopen Tuesday morning at 8am.
Garbage and recycle pick-up will run on the regular schedule. Please put your brown trash toter out on Monday by 7am and the blue recycle toter out on Tuesday by 7am.

The Town Hall is busy these days with a new covered addition being built in front of the Maggie Valley
Our community gets its name from Maggie Mae Setzer. Her father, John “Jack” Sidney Setzer founded the area’s first post office and it was named after one of his daughters. Each summer, Setzer descendants come from all over the country for a large family reunion in the historic valley.
