The Maggie Valley Board of Aldermen is accepting applications for appointment to the Maggie Valley ABC Board. Applications are due to the Clerk’ s Office by 5pm Friday, February 28, 2020.
You may pick up an application from Town Hall, the Maggie Valley location of the ABC Store or print one from our website here. Select Application for Appointment. The terms are three years.

Our community gets its name from Maggie Mae Setzer. Her father, John “Jack” Sidney Setzer founded the area’s first post office and it was named after one of his daughters. Each summer, Setzer descendants come from all over the country for a large family reunion in the historic valley.
