Planning Board Vacancy Public Take Notice: Looking at the beginning of 2024, the town is looking at being proactive rather than reactive in the event of any future vacancies on the Planning Board and/or Zoning Board of Adjustments. All applications will be held for one year. Therefore, the Maggie Valley Board of Aldermen are seeking applications for nomination to the Planning Board and the Zoning Board of Adjustments. The Planning Board generally meets once a month on the third Tuesday of each month at 5:30pm. The Zoning Board of Adjustments meets when there is a case to be heard, on the third Thursday of the month at 5:30pm.
